Coach Vollmuth

 Chris Vollmuth, now in his second year coaching volleyball, draws inspiration from seven years of observing his wife lead the game. With a childhood passion for baseball and a general love for sports, Chris eagerly embraced coaching with SMVC. Beginning with grassroots and advancing to coaching the 12u level, he witnessed remarkable growth and development among his players on the court. His coaching journey also extended to t-ball last year, where he shared his love and knowledge of baseball with young athletes, relishing the opportunity to teach fundamentals.

Outside the gym and field, Chris has dedicated 22 years to J. Vollmuth Roofing, LLC., working alongside his father since 2002. His beliefs center around maximum effort, advocating for leaving nothing behind every time one steps onto the court or field, fostering fearlessness in his players.

During his downtime, Chris enjoys quality time with his wife, indulging in rounds of golf, and cherishing moments with family. He and his wife actively participate in St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Gulfport, MS, regularly attending the 8:00 am Sunday mass.
