Coach Everett

With seven years of dedicated volleyball coaching experience, Coach K has made a significant impact on the sport at both the high school and collegiate levels. She began her coaching career at South Jones High School in Ellisville, Mississippi, and has spent the past two years at East Central High School in Hurley. Under her leadership, her teams have achieved numerous district championships, made three South State appearances, secured two South State titles, and reached the State Championship twice.

Coach K holds an Associate's degree from Itawamba Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Illinois State University. In addition to her coaching role, she has served as a Special Education Teacher at East Central High School for the past two years, demonstrating her commitment to both education and athletics.

Before focusing solely on volleyball, Coach K was a standout softball player at Mize Attendance Center, where she excelled and later played at the collegiate level. Over her initial seven years in education, she also coached softball, but it was in volleyball that she discovered her true passion.

Throughout her coaching journey, Coach K has had the privilege of mentoring extraordinary young athletes, many of whom have progressed to play at the collegiate level, including representatives at Jones County Community College, Pearl River Community College, and Itawamba Community College.
