Coach Williams

Coach Williams joined SMVC in 2022, focusing on Mini Hits and Surge Grassroots teams. She earned her USA Volleyball CAP-1 coaching certification during the late 1990s/early 2000s while serving as an Assistant Coach for a 16u North Atlanta Volleyball team. She’s completed multiple first-aid and CPR certifications. Coach Williams played competitive volleyball, both indoor and beach, for 20 years from high school to regional A and Open-level clubs in north Atlanta. Her long-time love of the game spills over today into coaching, where she concentrates on teaching fundamentals, volleyball IQ, and team-building. When she’s not on the volleyball court, she leads a Project Management Office for a global business solutions company. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, staying busy across their multiple sports.
